Windows Phone Now over 5 Percent Market Share in the United States

Android is still the number one when it comes to smartphones in the United States, harshly persecuted by the iOS – Windows Phone crawls over 5 percent.

Several analysts make statements about the market for smartphones and mobile operating systems.

Our site has released an overview of the distribution of mobile operating systems, measured over a three month period.

Not surprising statement that shows Android tops the list with 51.7 percent, which is a slight increase compared to the same period last year, where the share accounted for 50.3 percent.

In second place are Apple’s iOS system, which last year had 39.1 percent, but this year reaches 41.4%.Thus is the difference between Android and iOS “only” on 10.3 percent.

More interesting is enough, that Windows Phone reaches 5.6 percent, compared to last year’s 3.8 percent.

Research In Motion (RIM) BlackBerry has the dirt in the statement. They get a modest little share of 0.7 percent, were for last year’s 5.3 percent.
